No. Lighthouse Works is a mission-driven, social enterprise, 501c(3) corporation, established to provide solutions to businesses and government organizations while addressing social and economic challenges in the community. Every employee at Lighthouse Works, whether sighted or visually impaired, is hired the same way – they are qualified, submit their resume, interviewed, and earn their job. There are no special job classifications for our employees; to do so would be a betrayal of our Mission.
