Call Center / Customer Care Professional
We have part time and full time opportunities available for mid-level experience (this is not an entry level position) Call Center/Customer Care Professional as well as highly experienced Call Center/Customer Care Professionals at Lighthouse Works. Our primary preference is providing employment opportunities to persons who are blind or legally/visually impaired and will also consider some sighted personnel. The main focus is to assist callers by professionally providing courteous, timely, and accurate information regarding their Assistance claims.

• This is a professional position providing customer service for claimants and general information for the public and/or processing initial claims filed online. Explains points of law and reasons for determinations regarding eligibility for assistance benefits. Research and explain the assistance program at the request of callers and direct them to the appropriate place to file a claim. Refer to various community resources as appropriate.
• Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.
• Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials and ability to conduct fact-finding research by asking questions.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be highly proficient with Computers and Microsoft Office products
• One plus years working as Call Center Professional with high volume calls
• High School diploma or GED
• For Blind or Visually Impaired: Must have Access Technology skills using ZoomText or JAWS

Contract Management Support (CMS) Services Supervisor
Lighthouse Works located in Orlando, Florida is seeking a full-time experienced GS-1102 Equivalent Contract Management Support Services Supervisor.

This position will oversee the operation of the CMS project from receipt of contract through the process of close out while ensuring workforce is acting as needed and maintaining a confidential demeanor. This position will provide supervision and leadership for the Contract Management Support (CMS) services. May be required to supervise the work of visually impaired staff to perform the day-to-day operations necessary to prepare government contracts for close-out. The principal responsibilities of the position include:
• Maintain full accountability for the close-out, ensuring that all file documents are properly tracked, validated and reconciled, including but not limited to validation of contract file completeness, product and/or service delivery, receipt and acceptance research and analysis, invoicing and payment research and analysis, de-obligation of excess funds and drafting contract modifications as required.
• Manage and control the transfer of sensitive government contracts. You will be fully accountable of the folder from the time of receipt and accounted for through the closeout procedure to certified destruction, if required.
• Produce measurement reports to reflect productivity of the close out process to include contracts received, contracts closed, status of contracts being processed to include accountability of the folder as well as the stage that the folder is in at each point through the process.
• Establish departmental procedures metrics and status reports and implement contract close-out standard operating procedures.
• Review all folders upon arrival to ensure the folders received match the statement of work requirements.
• Manage relationship between customer Contracting Officer’s Representatives and contract close-out staff ensuring issues are identified, elevated and adjudicated in a timely manner.
• Ensure regular communication with agencies are established and maintained and reporting requirements are fulfilled.
• Abides by all security requirements of property and equipment.
• May be required to manage a workforce of blind and low vision personnel to ensure contract close-out procedures are executed completely and accurately to the highest quality standard and that the completed file is ready for submission to a warranted government contracting officer for close out.
• May be required to coordinate and contact proper representatives to promote system accessibility and pursue resources to accommodate blind and low-vision personnel.
